Scott Lucas is collecting the latest news from Iran on EA Worldview's Live Coverage. Below is a brief summary of the news so far.
The Iranian rial has lost more than 40% of its value in less than a week, a trend that continues, sparking rising prices and protests in the streets.
To combat this problem, the government has tried to censor information about the price of the rial, and has closed a major Bazar in Tehran, the capital, in order to halt trading and hide the rising costs of goods.
Perhaps thousands of protesters have taken to the streets in protest. One of the themes of the protest is that the Iranian government should worry more about its economic issues than the suppressing of a popular revolution in Syria.
Below are just a few videos. More are available at EA worldview.
