1 Ukrainian Soldier Wounded
In its evening dispatch, the Joint Forces Operation (OOS) reported that Russia-backed forces had struck Ukrainian positions 4 times, Liga.net reported. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded. There were attacks on Vil'noye, Maryinka, Pavlopol and Gnutovo.

In the previous reporting period, Russia-backed fighters fired 20 times, including 5 times with weapons banned under the Minsk agreements. Three separatist fighters were reported to be killed and three wounded.

There was no confirmation of these casualties from the separatist side, but the separatist news service Dan-New.info reported that two homes in the village of Dolomitnoye on the northern outskirts of Gorlovka were damaged from Ukrainian shelling. Dan-News did not have pictures available.

In the last week, the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission has discovered a total of 177 tanks near areas controlled by Russia-backed forces in Lugansk and Donetsk regions, Liga.net reported, adding up OSCE SMM dispatches from October 1 and 7.

The OOS discovered an ammunition cache in an abandoned home in Lugansk region.
