The ATO [Anti-Terrorist Operation] reported that fighting had intensified in the previous period with 36 attacks from Russia-backed forces. Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded, and two were killed, one in battle and the other from a mine.

Russia-backed militants attacked the Butovka mine and Ukrainian forces repelled them; one Ukrainian soldier was wounded in this battle. At about 18:00, militants shelled the area of Kamenka, and one Ukrainian soldier was killed. Another soldier was killed from an unknown explosive device near Nevelskoye.

On the Maritime line, militants fired from grenade-launchers and 82-mm mortar-launchers on the approaches to Vodyanoye and used 120-mm mortars on Pavlopol, where one soldier was wounded. Fighters also fired from an armed BMP on Ukrainian positions near Novotroitskoye.

On the Lugansk line, small arms were fired on Novoaleksandrovka and Popasnaya. Anti-tank grenades were fired near Stanitsa Luganskaya and Valuyskoye.
