On the Maritime line, Lebedinskoye was struck with grenade-launchers, mortar-launchers and smarl arms. Separatists also fired on Maryinka.

On the Donetsk line at about 21:00, Ukrainian positions were attacked near Avdeyevka and one Ukrainian soldier was wounded. Ukrainian forces returned fire to cover their positions.

The Ukrainian side of the Joint Centre for Coordination and Control reported that on August 12 at about 5:30, militants fired on ATO positions near Novoluganskoye, near Svetlodarsk, hitting residential areas.
