2 Ukrainian Soldiers WIA, 2 Scouts MIA; 64 Attacks on Front Line Today in Donbass
Russia-backed militants fired 64 times on Ukrainian positions today, and 2 Ukrainian soldiers were wounded, Unian.net reported, citing the ATO [Anti-Terrorist Operation] dispatch at 18:00.

Two Ukrainian scouts went missing today, the Lugansk Operational Tactical Group reported on Facebook, according to a Unian report.

Ukrainian positions on the Mariupol line were the most targeted today - Novotroitskoye, Gnutovo, Pavlopol, Shirokino, and Vodyanoye were struck by grenade-launchers, heavy machines guns and small arts. Mortar-launchers were used near Pavlopol.

At his daily briefing, Defense Ministry spokesman Col. Oleksandr Motuzyanik said that Russia-backed forces fired 28 Grad missiles outside Krasnogorovka, and fired more than 25 shots from tanks and 130 mortars.

Overnight, there were ceasefire violations in Krasnogorovka; 28 Grad missiles were fired as well as 25 tank salvos and 130 mortars.

On the Donetsk line, militants fired on Avdeyevka, Novoselovka Vtoraya, and used grenade-launchers, heavy machine guns and firearms on Peski, Avdeyevka, Opytnoye and Troitskoye.

Earlier militants used 120-mm mortar-launchers to attack Avdeyevka, Nevelsk, and Optynoye and grenade-launchers and firearms, and grenade-launchers and firearms on Novgorodskoye, Nevelskoye, Luganskoye and Zaytsevo. Snipers also fired on Avdeyevka, Luganskoye and Verkhnotoretskoye

The Ukrainian Dnipro-1 battalion said that drone flights have revealed more than 100 units of Russian military armor visible in Petrovsky and Kirovsky Districts of Donetsk and also a lot of military constructions.

Alexander Hug, first deputy chair of the OSCE's Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) in Ukraine said today there was "an unacceptably high level of victims" among civilians in the escalation of the war in the Donbass since January 19.

Translation: In the last 12 days of war in Donbass, 9 civilians have been killed, and 41 wounded, OSCE reported.

He said that while ceasefire violations were "significantly reduced" in recent days, they are still too high; the OSCE marked 460 ceasefire violations in the Donetsk region on February 10 and 55 in the Lugansk Region.

He said there was a risk that the war could escalate again, and the positions of the warring sides were too close together. There was an effort under the Minsk agreement to get the sides to pull back but this has been reversed in recent months.
