Vadim Prokhorov, lawyer for opposition journalist Vladimir Kara-Murza, Jr., hospitalized since February 2, has the latest medical bulletin (translation by The Interpreter):

On the Status of Health of Vladimir Kara-Murza, Jr As of February 7, 2017 (10:00 am Moscow time, 8 hours ago)

The situation of Vladimir Kara-Murza's health continues to remain stable but serious.

Kidney dialysis continues, artificial ventilation of his lungs, and other resuscitation procedures.

There are some positive aspects in the functioning of his heart.

Today law-enforcement agencies confirmed that when Kara-Murza was admitted to the clinic, his diagnosis was initially put as: "Toxic effect from an unknown substance."

We wish Vladimir to hang in there and get well!
